What do I need before I can host my web site with Tivilon?
You need Internet access from a dial-up, broadband, or network
connection. If you do not have your own dial-up/broadband provider, we recommend
Earthlink, who
is continually rated among the top internet connectivity providers in the US. With an
Internet access provider, you'll get an e-mail account (which you'll need to reserve your domain
name, and sign up for services with Tivilon), and connectivity that will allow you to send (FTP)
and receive (WWW) files on your web hosting account.
With Tivilon, you don't need your own Webmaster, because we are here to design, build and maintain your
web site for you with our web site design & development solutions. Of course,
you can host sites with us that you built, as well.
What is Tivilon's policy against "spamming" and "bulk e-mailing?"
Tivilon does not approve of spam (Unsolicited Commercial E-mail or UCE) in any
form. If you have received a spam originating from a Tivilon server, please notify our
Support Team. Tivilon will determine
the source of the spam and take appropriate actions.

Does Tivilon host "adult oriented" web sites?
Tivilon does not host adult oriented web sites. Sites of such nature
are a drain on the resources on the web server and could ultimately affect traffic
to other shared web sites.
Violation of this policy is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination
of all accounts.
Does Tivilon host "WAREZ" web sites?
Tivilon does not host "WAREZ" (pirated software) web sites. Sites of such nature
are a drain on the resources on the web server and could ultimately affect traffic
to other shared web sites.

What is Tivilon's policy on supporting third party software?
Tivilon only supports third party software installed on its systems
as related to the hosting aspect. Tivilon is only responsible for proper installation
of software, the software running properly on the specific machine, configuration
of files being in correct locations, software updates, or other specific configuration
issues. Tivilon is only responsible for how the software is implemented and offered
to its customers. It is strongly recommended that our customers explore all
possibilities in answering their questions via these third parties. If you suspect
or are told from the third party support that the problem or solution requires
the host to configure hardware or software, please contact our
Support Team.
How can I update my account contact information?
You can change your contact information with Tivilon by
contacting our Support Team.
Remember, if the name, e-mail address or mailing address on your account are changing, you'll
also want to notify your domain registrant so that they can keep your domain file accurate as well. Always
make sure to keep this information accurate at all times. It makes holding onto and transferring your
domain name much easier later on.

What operating system is on my web server?
Currently, Tivilon is running Microsoft® Windows™ 2000
Server on our shared web hosting servers. Those interested in another OS should contact
for information on dedicated hosting.
What web daemon is in use for Tivilon's servers?
Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 5.0 is in use
on the Tivilon shared web servers.
How can I upgrade hosting plans?
To upgrade hosting plans, please contact our
Support Team or call 1-866-TIVILON.
How do I contact the Tivilon Support Team?
All hosting plans come with included online support (on the web site and via e-mail). To contact
